The Ants Nest - Parents and Community Group
Kirstie RollsAt Antonio Catholic School, we deeply value the involvement of parents, carers, and friends in building a vibrant and supportive school community.
The Ants Nest is our parent and community group, formed through the merger of the Parents, Friends and Community (PFC) and the Sports Committee. Together, we work to enrich school life and strengthen connections across our community.
The Ants Nest plays a vital role by:
- Welcoming new families and helping them feel connected
- Supporting classroom, whole-school, and sports projects
- Organising special lunches and student events
- Coordinating sports carnivals, fundraising, and community activities
- Fostering school spirit and a sense of belonging
Meetings are held twice per term and are a great opportunity to meet other families, share ideas, and get involved in shaping the life of our school.
The group also hosts a closed Facebook page:
“Antonio Catholic School Parents, Friends & Community (PFC)”
This page provides updates, shares upcoming events, and serves as a space for families to connect and buy, sell, or swap second-hand uniforms.
Whether you’re able to help regularly or occasionally, your time and support are always appreciated.
