Pathways from Antonio Catholic School
After Year 6, many Antonio students continue their Catholic education at Cardijn College’s Marian Campus in Noarlunga Downs, which supports students from Years 7 to 12. Our strong relationship with Cardijn College helps students and families experience a smooth, informed and well-supported transition to secondary school.
Cardijn College offers a supportive, future-focused learning environment with academic, co-curricular and vocational pathways. Students undertake their secondary studies at the Marian Campus, while the Marcellin Campus at Christie Downs offers specialised vocational education and training for students in Years 10 to 12 and beyond.
Antonio Catholic School works closely with families and Cardijn College to share information and support students as they prepare for Year 7. Families can further support this transition by attending Cardijn College tours and information sessions.
When to apply for Year 7
A place at Antonio Catholic School does not automatically guarantee enrolment at Cardijn College. Families seeking Year 7 entry at the Marian Campus should apply by the end of Term 1 when their child is in Year 5. Applying early is strongly recommended, as late applications may be placed on a waiting list or considered only when places are available.
For current application dates, enrolment steps and contact details, families can visit the Cardijn College enrolment website. Antonio Catholic School office staff are also available to help families with questions about the transition to Cardijn College.
